Interfaced: Samples from a UX Case Study

Interfaced is a personal project born out of my love for UX and connecting people. It is still in the early stages of development, but is something I am working on in my free time.

Problem Statement:

I have observed that there is a lack of mentorship in the creative industry in NYC. My research has shown that it is difficult for mentors and mentees to find each other and build a lasting relationship with a compatible partner. Personality, goals, and restrictions in time or location are important factors in matching people together long term and are difficult to determine casually in conversation.

Hypothesis:

I believe that creating a mentorship matching service unlike all other career services on the market, one that focuses on the individual’s goals first and the job title second, would transform lives in both personal and professional ways. I’ll know it’s true when I see enrollment numbers climb, jobs placed, and the emotional satisfaction of those involved.
